In a study, researchers found that by putting eyes on a charity donation jar, which was placed in a supermarket, resulted in people giving 48% more than a standard undecorated jar. When the simple jar was placed, donation collected was £5.48 per 1,000 consumers, but with adding eyes on jar, it was £6.69.
