Firefox Add-ons Disabled due to an Expired Certificate

Mozilla Firefox users discovered that all of their add-ons were suddenly disabled. This has happened because of an expired intermediary certificate that is used to signMozilla addons. Users said Mozilla add-ons got disabled with a message 'could be verified for use in Firefox', in many reports on Reddit, Twitter & bug reports on Bugzilla. When they tried to reinstall, it stated 'Download Failed. Please check your connection'.
