For the 1st time, Jaguar fighter plane flies with advanced radar

Test pilots at defence PSU Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) flew for the first time an upgraded Jaguar fighter aircraft fitted with an AESA (active electronically scanned array) radar. With all the new features, the Jaguar Darin III is expected to serve the Indian Air Force (IAF) for at least another decade. At present, the IAF has six squadrons of Jaguar, with 20 fighters each.
