Hong Kong pro-democracy activist Agnes Chow released from jail after nearly 7 months
24-year-old Hong Kong pro-democracy activist Agnes Chow has been released from prison. Chow was released on Saturday after serving nearly seven months in prison for her involvement in an unauthorised assembly during the anti-government protests in 2019. She was convicted along with Joshua Wong for the organisation of an illegal rally. She formed the democracy group Demosisto along with Wong and Nathan Law.
