The Indian Airforce has expressed its interest to the French government in leasing one Airbus A330 multi-role tanker transport aircraft for training purposes. The Airforce plans to lease five more mid-air refuellers later to boost the flying range of its multi-role fighters. The Airforce will get the aircraft on lease on a government-to-government basis. The force has already issued a request for information.
