In honor of Sandeep Dhaliwal, Houston Police Department changes dress code

The Houston PD has changed its dress-code to be more inclusive. The change was introduce to honor a fallen Sikh law enforcement officer Sandeep Dhaliwal who was killed in the line of duty while trying to conduct a traffic stop. From now on the Sikhs can serve as law enforcement officers without compromising on their faith. HPD will become the largest police force to allow religious clothing while on the job.
