India bags 11th rank as holder of US-T bills

India has been ranked 11th for holdings of US Treasuries that touched a record of $148.6 billion in January. New Delhi left Saudi Arabia behind in buying the planet’s safest financial asset. As per the Care Ratings, the Central bank held 36% of total foreign currency assets in UST by end of June in 2017. But in January, the share hiked up to 38% with total foreign currency assets at 393.7 billion.
