Indian consulate in Toronto evacuated after discovery of suspicious package

A suspicious package was spotted near the Indian consulate in Toronto, close to Sherbourne Street. The entire building including officials and staff at the Indian consulate was evacuated after the discovery of the package and it was later detonated by the Police. A man has been arrested by the police in connection with the case and an investigation is going on. Indian officials have demanded “enhanced security” after the incident.
