On Friday, Justice Abhay Shreeniwas Oka took oath as the Chief Justice of the Karnataka High Court. He took the oath in English at the Glass House in Raj Bhavan. CM HD Kumaraswamy, Deputy CM G Parameshwara, judges of the high court and other dignitaries, including state govt officials, were present during the oath ceremony. Oka is succeeding Justice Dinesh Maheshwari, who was promoted as SC judge in January.
