Kerala Govt to bear the training cost of India's first transgender pilot

The Kerala State Government has decided to bear all the training expenses of a 20-year-old transgender to help him in becoming the country's first transgender airline pilot. 20-year-old Adam Harry will receive a help of Rs.23.34 lakh from the social justice department to pursue a three-year course at the Rajiv Gandhi Academy for Aviation Technology in Thiruvananthapuram. Harry currently holds a private pilot license.
