Key witness to the downing of Flight MH17 released

A Ukrainian court has released a key witness to the downing of Malaysian Airlines Flight MH17 5 years ago. Volodymyr Tsemakh was taken into custody this year from a separatist-held area of Ukraine. Many believe he played a key role in the rebels' air defense system. On 17 July 2014, the passenger jet traveling from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur was hit by a missile over eastern Ukraine and all 298 people on board died.
