Continuous downpour led to a massive landslide at Mawnei in Meghalaya's East Khasi Hills district on Friday. Two women cricketers were killed after their houses got buried due to the landslide. Three others went missing after the incident. The deceased cricketers have been identified as Razia Ahmed, who played for the state at the national level, and Ferozia Khan, a local player. Their bodies were recovered from the debris.
