Maurizio Parlato admitted receiving approximately $ 2.8 million in kickback payments, also known as bribes, from selling sports cars. Parlato is the former CEO of Ferrari North America and COO of Bugatti of the Americas. He also admitted avoiding paying more than $ 1.1 million in taxes. He pleaded guilty to subscribing to a false tax return and failing to file a report on foreign bank and financial accounts, US Attorney's Office said.
