Mizoram Police books Himanta Biswasarma, 6 others in connection with interstate border clash

In a major development in the Assam-Mizoram border clash that took place on July 26, the Mizoram Police have booked Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on charges of attempt to murder and criminal conspiracy. Besides the Assam CM, six other people including four senior Assam police officials and two bureaucrats have been booked. The FIR mentions 200 unidentified Assam Police personnel as well.
