No evidence that Covid-19 mutation in minks can impact vaccine, says WHO chief scientist

Days after the Denmark government decided to cull over 17 million minks after a Covid19 mutation was found in the mink in farms, World Health Organization Chief Scientist Soumya Swaminathan said the global medical agency has no evidence that the mutation in minks can affect the vaccine. “I don’t think we should come to any conclusions whether this particular mutation is going to impact vaccine efficacy or not," she said.
