A New Zealand author Olivia Pierson's book has been removed from an online store after she criticized the foreign affairs minister Nanaia Mahuta's traditional Maori tattoo. Olivia Pierson had tweeted that facial tattoo on a female diplomat was ugly and her tweet sparked anger. Nania Mahuta is the first female MP in NZ to have a Maori facial tattoo. Some with Maori heritage wear tattoos called moko to mark their genealogy.
