Over 60% decline in Jewish population in Europe in last 50 years

According to a study by the London-based Institute for Jewish Policy Research, the Jewish population saw a decline of over 60% in the last 50 years in Europe. As per the report, Europe is home to just 9 percent of the total Jewish population in the world. The number was 90 percent in the late 19th century. Jews account for nearly 0.1 percent of the continent's population with their population being 1.3 million in 2020.
