PM Modi has been lauded with six global awards in the last 5 years, certainly the most decorated one in recent times! Four of the honours come from Muslim countries for his efforts at boosting India's ties with the Islamic world. Recently, Modi was conferred UAE's highest medal-the Zayed Medal on April 4, 2019; the award was a recognition for his pivotal role in strengthening the ties between the 2 nations.
