Rajeev Topno, private secretary to PM appointed as senior advisor to Executive Director, World Bank

Rajeev Topno, a senior bureaucrat and private secretary to Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been appointed as senior advisor to the Executive Director, World Bank in Washington, a personnel ministry order said today. Topno, a 1996 batch IAS officer of Gujarat cadre, will have three years tenure. Topno had joined the PM's Office as a deputy secretary in 2009 when Manmohan Singh had just started his second term.
