Rise in child labour in world for first time in two decades: UN

The United Nations has said it has recorded a rise in child labour for the first time in two decades. According to a joint report by the International Labour Organization and the UN children's agency UNICEF, the number of child labours reached 160 million at the start of 2020 with an increase of 8.4 million in four years. Sub-Saharan Africa recorded the biggest increase in child labour number in the world.
