National Health Authority (NHA) CEO Ram Sewak Sharma has said the implementation of Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission, under which citizens will have their health account numbers, is ‘more difficult’ than building Aadhaar. The Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) aims to develop the backbone necessary to support the integrated digital health infrastructure of the country.
