S Jaishankar likely to be present at Iran President's swearing-in ceremony

India's External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar is likely to attend the swearing-in ceremony of Iran’s president-elect Ebrahim Raisi on August 5. India received an invitation from Tehran to attend the swearing-in when Jaishankar met Raisi in Tehran on July 7. It was earlier expected that some other minister will represent India during the ceremony but New Delhi has decided to send Jaishankar to highlight the importance of Tehran.
