Sarvana Bhavan owner P Rajagopal, who surrendered in court on 9 July after being sentenced to life-term in a murder case, died on Thursday morning after suffering a heart attack. He was 72. Rajagopal was admitted to the Stanley hospital’s prison ward after suffering from a heart attack on Saturday but later shifted to a private hospital after the court accepts his son's plea and granted permission.
