Statue of Unity put up for sale on OLX for coronavirus donations, investigation underway

The world's tallest statue 'Statue of Unity' in Gujarat was put up for sale on OLX for Rs 30,000 crores, in order to donate the money for medical and healthcare equipment for coronavirus. The statue of unity authorities filed a police complaint against an unknown person for the listing and an FIR has been registered under IPC Section 505, 417, 469. The original listing has been however taken down by the company.
