Researchers claim a fasting-mimicking diet may become more effective at treating some types of cancer when it’s combined with vitamin C. In studies on mice, researchers identified that the combination effectively delays tumor progression in several mouse models of colorectal cancer while in some mice it caused disease regression. It shows a completely non-toxic intervention can effectively treat an aggressive cancer.
