The popular belief that houseplants can improve indoor air quality is nothing but a myth, according to a new study. Researchers claim it will take near about 93 plants per square foot of floor space to give the same result an office ventilation system provides as plants soak up dangerous chemicals too slowly. Interestingly, you can achieve the same effect in a house by opening at least a couple of windows.
