According to a report by the US National Intelligence Council, once the US troops complete the withdrawal from Afghanistan, the extremist Taliban group will roll back any progress made towards women's rights. "The Taliban remains broadly consistent in its restrictive approach to women's rights and would roll back much of the past two decades of progress if the group regains national power," the report says.
