Tamil Nadu man commits suicide after getting harassed by money lending app over loan of Rs 4,000

A man from Chinglepet, Tamil Nadu committed suicide after getting harassed by a money lending application. The deceased man worked with a private firm and took a loan worth Rs 4,000 from a money lending app. The man identified as Vivek Ranganathan was a resident of Pazhayannur, Madurantakam and had taken the loan to pay for his father's medical expenses. Ranganathan had also switched off his phone to avoid the lender's calls.
