Due to poaching, the northern white rhino is at the verge of extinction. But a new ray of hope has been seen, as the scientists are using IVF to increase the number. 2 embryos created so far. The embryos were created at Avantea Laboratories in Cremona, Italy, and will be stored in liquid nitrogen until transferred to the surrogate mother. On 22 Aug, the eggs from last two females, Najin and Fatu were collected.
