A 25-year-old lady based from Tokyo complained of severe throat pain and was taken to hospital. She ate Japanese delicacy sashimi which includes raw fish or meat chopped into thin slices & served with soy sauce. Even though it is safe, the woman was in bad luck as the fish that she ate housed a parasitic roundworm. Doctors found a 3.8cm long, black moving worm & they removed it without causing any damage to her throat.
