Total Water availability in major reservoirs drops from 91% to 26% of their actual capacity

Agriculture Ministry said total water availability in major reservoirs of the country has reduced from 91% to 26% of their actual storage capacity, which are managed by Central Water Commission. The total live storage capacity of 91 reservoirs is 161.99 BCM which is about 63% of the live storage capacity of 257.812 BCM. The average of the last 10 years live storage is 41.074 BCM. The situation is better this year than last year.
