University of Turku develops an app to detect heart stroke

The Department of Future Technologies of the University of Turku has developed an application that can detect patients with atrial fibrillation to up to 96%. The disease is an irregular heart rate that can increase the risk of stroke, heart failure and other heart-related diseases. Timely detection of atrial fibrillation can save lives. Detection of atrial fibrillation has been a worldwide challenge for the doctors from years.
