Uttarakhand has worst performance in terms of sex ratio, reveals Niti Aayog's SDG index

According to Niti Aayog's Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), Uttarakhand has the lowest sex ratio in India at 840, in comparison to the national average of 899. On the other hand, Chhattisgarh was the best-performing state in the country with the male-to-female ratio at birth at 958. The second was Kerala with a sex ratio of 957. The country bettered its overall SDG score by 6 points - from 60 in 2019 to 66 in 2020-21.
