Content HeadJustice Dipak Misra on Monday sworn-in as the 45th Chief Justice of India (CJI) and will complete a tenure of almost 14 months, till Oct 2, 2018. JS Khehar, the outgoing CJI had recommended Misra’s name as his successor. At a ceremony held in Rashtrapati Bhawan, President Ramnath Kovind administered the oath to Misra. On the 1st day as CJI, Misra pronounced many key verdicts following which he grabbed wide media attention.
