4-months internet ban: WhatsApp deactivated Kashmiri accounts

Popular messaging service WhatsApp has removed several users from Kashmir after 4-months of internet shutdown in the region. On 4th August Indian govt decided to revoke Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir and on 4th December a lot of users from the region took to Twitter to express how their WhatsApp accounts have been disabled. According to WhatsApp policies, it deactivates accounts after 120 days of inactivity.
