50% former VIPs vacated bungalows after govt threatened to cut water and electricity

Government has recently said that the former MPs and others who have overstayed in their government accommodations need to vacate soon. Otherwise, the water and electricity connections will be severed, the govt added. According to sources, 50% of those who were overstaying have already vacated the homes after this. At present, only 109 ex-MPs are overstaying. However, an ultimatum of 1-week has been put in place for them.
