After getting 51 paise per kg for onions, farmer sends earnings to CM Fadnavis

A farmer from Nashik district of Maharashtra, Chandrakant Bhikan Deshmukh has sent a money order of Rs. 216 after selling 545 kg of onions at the Agriculture Produce Market Committee (APMC), to Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, as a mode of protest against his meagre earnings. Deshmukh expressed his disappointment over the state of affairs and questioned how he was supposed to run his house and feed his family.
