US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan rang Israeli National Security Adviser Meir Ben-Shabbat to express his concerns over the ongoing situation in Jerusalem following the clash between Israeli police and Palestinians. The White House said in a statement that Mr. Sullivan "reiterated the United States’ serious concerns about the potential evictions of Palestinian families from their homes in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood."
