Air India yet to receive more than Rs 1,000 Cr for flying PM ,VP and Prez

MoS Civil Aviation, Jayant Sinha, as a reply to the question asked in Lok Sabha said that the PM, President and Vice President have to give Rs 1,000.62 crore to the Air India. The payments that are pending are from MEA, Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of Home Affairs for Special Extra Section Flight. For the 3 of them, AI operates SESF with B747-400 aircraft. Minister said normally such dues are cleared timely.
