Amidst the rising US-Iran tensions, India issued an advisory directing its national carriers to avoid the Iranian airspace. The increase in tension has alarmed the world. Air India & Indigo are expected to exercise caution while flying over the Iranian airspace & airlines might have to look for alternative routes. This move came after a US airstrike killed Iran's chief Qassem Soleimani near Baghdad international airport.
