Anup Kumar Singh, senior IPS officer of Gujarat cadre appointed as DG of the NSG

Anup Kumar Singh, a senior IPS officer of Gujarat cadre has been appointed as Director-General of the National Security Guard. The ACC approved his appointment as the DG of the 'black cats commando' force. The appointment will be from the date of joining the post & till September 2020 or till further orders whichever is earlier. The commandos of the force also render personal security to a few VVIPs.
