Lt General (Retd) Asim Saleem Bajwa, a key associate of Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan announced his resignation on Thursday. Bajwa was accused of corruption in connection with the China Pakistan Economic Corridor. The retired Army official refuted all the claims in a tweet while adding that he is stepping down as the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) Imran Khan, on information and broadcasting.
