Russian President Vladimir Putin has said battle-hardened terrorists from Syria and Iraq are entering Afghanistan. "It is possible that terrorists may try to destabilise the situation in neighbouring states," Putin said while adding that the terrorists could try "direct expansion". He said during a video conference with security service chiefs of ex-Soviet states that extremist groups are exploiting the situation in Afghanistan.
