BHIM Cashback Scheme For Merchants Gets Extension

The cashback scheme, that offers merchants incentives of up to Rs.1,000 when they accept payments through the Bharat Interface for Money (BHIM) application, has been extended. The scheme was launched by PM Modi on 14 April for a period of six months to promote cashless transactions via BHIM app. The scheme will be operational until March 31, 2018, said Ministry of Electronics and IT.
