BJP fields Priyanka Tibrewal, lawyer fighting Bengal post-poll violence case, against Mamata for Bhabanipur bypoll

The Bharatiya Janata Party has announced Priyanka Tibrewal as its candidate for the Bhabanipur bypoll in West Bengal. Tibrewal is a 41-year-old practicing lawyer at the Calcutta High Court and Supreme Court and has been fighting the West Bengal post-poll violence case. She will contest against West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in the bypoll that is scheduled to take place on September 30.
