BJP leader Kirit Somaiya detained at railway station in Maharashtra's Satara

Senior BJP leader Kirit Somaiya was detained early on Monday at Karad railway station in Maharashtra’s Satara district. The former Lok Sabha member was scheduled to visit Kolhapur later in the day to prove his allegations of corruption against minister Hasan Mushrif. Prohibitory orders were issued against him by the Kolhapur district collector. The BJP leader was taken to the Circuit House by Mumbai Police after getting detained.
