British Govt plans new 5G club of 10 democracies including India: Report

According to the UK media report, the British government has approached the US with a proposal to create a 5G club of democracies including India, called the D10 club of democratic partners, amidst the growing concerns related to Chinese telecom giant Huawei. The D10 club will aim to devise alternative suppliers of 5G tools and other technologies to avoid China's dependency. Britain has labelled Huawei as a high-risk vendor.
