The rumours of growing opposition against BS Yediyurappa in the BJP turned true as the 78-year-old stepped down from his position as Karnataka Chief Minister. Yediyurappa resigned with a farewell speech where he struggled to hold his tears. “I have debt to pay back to the people of Karnataka. I ask officers and MLAs that people have lost trust in all of us. We should work harder and in clean honest way," he said.
