Budget 2018- Petrol, Diesel get cheaper; Mobile phone, cigarettes to cost more

PM Modi has talked about the ease of business and ease of living in the last pre-poll budget, however, the middle class didn’t get Income tax relief and instead as a consolation they will get Rs 40,000 standard deduction against travel and medical expenses. Mobile phones, cigarettes are among those things to cost more while petrol and diesel will get cheaper and Disinvestment target for this year set at ₹80,000 crores.
