Center in mood to change pattern of MPLADS funding

To assure the usage of full MPLADS funds, the central government is in the mood of changing its pattern from 2 instalments to 1 each year, following delay in fulfilment of plans and release of funds by the respective district administrations. It is shocking to know that only 35 constituencies out of 543 elected Lok Sabha constituencies used the whole amount of Rs 25 crore with projects accomplished since 2014.
